“The Christian Defense Coalition is a nationwide Christ-centered ministry based in Washington, D.C., that is committed to challenging the Christian community to live out their faith in the public square, by engaging culture through radical Biblical obedience and discipleship.  As the Church seeks God in repentance, our goal is to see all public policies and institutions based on the principles of God’s Word and the historic teachings of the Church”

 

To fulfill our Mission Statement the Christian Defense Coalition focuses on five distinct areas of ministry: 


  • Protecting and safeguarding the First Amendment, free speech and civil liberties with a particular emphasis on religious freedom.
  • Building a “Culture of Life” with a focus on abortion, human cloning, embryonic stem cell research and bio-ethics.
  • Embracing social justice concerns such as poverty, racism, homelessness, human trafficking, prison reform, creation care and other public policy issues.
  • Raising up and empowering a new generation of Christian leaders through teaching, discipleship and cutting edge public Christian witness.
  • A prophetic burden to call the Church to repentance and urgently seek God for biblically based spiritual awakening that will produce cultural reformation and social justice.
